May 1st, 2012 - TulsaConnect, Oklahoma's leading provider of commercial Data Center and Cloud hosting services announced today that it has been acquired by MBO, a privately held Oklahoma-owned group of telecommunications companies. TulsaConnect will operate as a new division of MBO, dubbed MBO Data, yet will continue to operate under the same team that founded the company in 2001.

MBO is privately held, Oklahoma-owned, and has a 100 plus year track record, which made us extremely comfortable that they were the right fit for us and our customers", said Mike Bacher, one of TulsaConnect's founders. Bacher will continue on with the new firm as Director of Data Center Operations.In conjunction with today's announcement, TulsaConnect is also excited to formally announce the launch of its newest Data Center, dubbed DC-3, located in the Corporate Woods complex near Broken Arrow, OK, as well as the construction of a new Data Center facility in the Oklahoma City area, to be operated under the OKC Connect brand. Regarding the new facilities, Mike Bacher said, "The MBO Data acquisition will bear immediate benefits, such as the new Oklahoma City facility currently under construction, which will give that market a long overdue choice in Data Center providers".
