The SAS 70 is an independent report on the design of TulsaConnect's business processes and controls as it relates to its Data Center and Hosting services. The audit was performed by SAS 70 Corp., a licensed CPA firm that specializes in performing SAS 70 audits nationwide. "TulsaConnect obtained the SAS 70 report to demonstrate to its customers that we have substantial internal controls and procedures related to our Data Center operations and managed services", said Mike Bacher, Partner, TulsaConnect. A Type I report describes an organization's controls and processes at a specific point in time. TulsaConnect plans to continue on to the Type II report, which consists of detailed testing of those controls over a minimum of a six month period.
